A new dating application for cat lovers is being launched to help people connect with each other. The app ‘Tabby’ has been created by sisters Leigh and Casey Isaacson.
The application allows users to share their stories about themselves and their cats, as well as comment on photos posted by fellow cat lovers. People can also open up about any cat-related events or shops they are interested in. According to Tabby‘s press release, “You’ll have a section of your profile for you AND a section dedicated to your cats and your cats’ personalities. Each photo or video can have their own caption, and you can highlight your cat tags like “Allowed on the table,” “Sleeps in my bed” and “Likes other animals.” Give everyone a heads up that your cat is “a rescue,” “hairless,” or “indoor only!”
Sterling Davis and actor Nathan Kehn are leading the launch of the application. Davis told The Koala, “Not just myself and Nathan, but I’ve heard many cat lovers talk about relationship issues. Someone is mad that you have a cat or someone is freaked out because you have too many cats!! Somehow loving cats has turned into a lonely crazy unattractive person’s life.”
Also adding, “A lot of what I do in cat rescue is to show that rescue can be fun and rewarding, at the same time I want to show that the people who do rescue and love cats aren’t crazy, lonely, or unattractive! I think Tabby will be a place that’s good for my rescue folks that need to take some time out for a few human head butts and slow blinks!”
Cat lovers can now find love and friendship with this new dating application.
Furthermore, people do not necessarily have to be cat owners to join Tabby. Nathan Kehn also said, “Cat is a lifestyle. They’re an important, uncompromising part of our lives. Cat people are just as unique as the cats they love, but we understand each other. Finding
someone who loves cats the way that you do is vital.”
“You don’t have to own a cat to join Tabby,” Kehn further added. “This is an app for people that love cats and the people that own them. So you can find someone who already has cats or adopt them after learning about them from the app as well. Tabby will not only be helping people find love. But will also make steps to help the rescue world as well.”
The app is all set to launch on 8th August, which is International Cat Day. It will be available to the public in Canada, Australia, UK, and the United States.
