A photo of two dogs hugging each other has gone viral on the Internet. Dogs are most likely to get excited after they spot other dogs on the street.
But these cockapoos share a special bond. Their owners had taken them out for a walk when the two dogs spotted each other. The pups were extremely happy and their massive grins were proof of that!
They were separated when they were puppies, but recognized each other on the street. Rosie and Monty had a very exciting reunion.
Rosie’s owner, Susan Killip, told The Koala that the puppies were born on 30th June and back then “Monty and Rosie were always together.”
She added, “She [Rosie] never saw Monty again until about 3 weeks ago as Jean and David [Monty’s owners] live in the next village so we never see them.”
“We went for a walk that day and bumped into David and it was so lovely,” Susan continued. “They [the dogs] both just jumped up and hugged each other, it was amazing. They remembered each other after 10 months of not seeing each other.”
Their reunion went viral when Libby Pincher shared a conversation with her father on Twitter.
The conversation read: “So, Dave was out walking his dog, and there was a couple walking towards him with a white version of his dog. Turns out they are brother and sister from the same litter.”
He added, “But instead of just playing like they do with other dogs, look at this…” The conversation also featured an image of one black dog and one white dog smiling and hugging.
The post has gained almost 930,000 likes on Twitter. People from all over the world shared their happiness over the reunion.
One commented, “Ahh!! My heart needed this so much today!!”
Another wrote, “This is ADORABLE! The fact they recognise each other is fantastic!”
Someone also tweeted, “How beautiful this is. We truly could learn so much from pets. We don’t deserve them.”
Such an adorable reunion of these dog siblings! Just what we need in these troubling times!
